My Best Shot Thus far.

This was taken in a very small channel in the Kanektok. There is barely enough room to stand let alone cast. The concentration of rainbows in this spot is incredible, most of them are over 20". These guys are tough, very weary and selective, after many strategic meetings and calculations Eric Rathbun from Moldy Chum got 'em.

There are nearly 10 more fish of various species in this frame as well.

Love it.

Week 9 has ended, week 10 approaches. I am looking forward to more silver madness and big bow hunting. Now is the time to seek out Walter.

I think the side story posted on Moldy is far more interesting. Wish I could have been there... Didn't realize you were guiding for AK west. Matt and I work trips together in OH occasionally, but talk all the time and hang out a bit. Checked out your other sites, glad to see you stuck with it and are doing well. Best. W
